Review – Isabel by Insolence

7 09 2009

It has been well established that my love of lingerie knows no bounds, so it should not come as a shock to learn how excited I get when I see an offline inventory offer from Camilla Yosuke of Insolence.  It is one of the few times I feel like I am in a rush to get home and log in so I can see the wonderful newness she has created.  The newest set, Isabel, does not disappoint. In fact, I will go so far as to say I think this is one of her best pieces.

Satin Cool

10 07 2009

After all that swimming and posing in the sun, I thought something cool and satiny was in order last night, and the newest release from Insolence was certainly the right choice.

Week of Lingerie – Wednesday

19 03 2009

Insolence was my first SL lingerie love. I remember wandering into the store by chance and being mesmerized by the designs. It was the first example of really well done lingerie I had seen and I bought almost the entire store right then and there. It’s been over a year now that I’ve been wandering the grid and you know what? I still love Insolence. Camilla Yosuke’s designs are incredibly detailed and well crafted and she’s always coming up with something imaginative and feminine.

When I think of Insolence, two words come to mind: Feminine and Innocent. Most of the lingerie at Insolence is soft and flirty, feminine and elegant. But they are never boring. When Camilla Yosuke dropped review copies of her latest release, Dolores, on me, I was excited to see what she had come up with this time.

A Unique Perspective on Sameness

30 01 2009

And now for something new…or not. As you’ve probably gathered, a lot of us bloggers are wearing the SAME DAMN THING today. Achariya issued this challenge in response to some conversations on plurk. I think most of us bloggers have caught flak from time to time because we’ve blogged something someone else already showed. But this challenge is to show you that while we are wearing the same item, we look completely different. We all bring our own personality and sense of style to an outfit. So what if someone else already blogged it? Maybe you didn’t care for it the way you saw it once, but the second time was a look you could see yourself wearing? Isn’t that fashion in its truest form?
