Lazy Sunday

30 06 2009
After a very busy week and an even busier weekend, I decided that Sunday would be a lazy day by the beach sort of day.  I had a lovely morning, but then my evening was busier than I had expected, so this post is going up on Monday instead of Sunday…ah well.
Nothing feels more appropriate for a lazy Sunday on the beach than a tank top and shorts, I have to say.  For those of you who have not heard, ::Exodi:: is having a 50% off sale until July 3rd with 100% of the proceeds going to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.  Make-A-Wish is a wonderful charity, and I think this sale is a wonderful way for Ryker Beck to commemorate the life of someone whose talent she admired.  I went and bought everything in the store I had been wanting but did not already own; knowing that, while I did spend a lot of lindens, they were going to help make a wish come true for someone out there.  And really, what better way to relax on a lazy Sunday than by knowing you’ve helped someone even in some small way.

For lounging on the beach, I chose some of my new favorites from ::Exodi::–the Lilian Tank and the Nadia Shorts.

This tank comes in several fun, summer colors, and you can choose an option with the pattern or without.  I wore both in this post.  It’s very cute, and I love the lace along the edges. Credit should go to Ryker for getting me to put yellow anywhere on my body, even if it is just a tiny amount in the pattern.

The Nadia shorts are super-short, denim cut-offs but not TOO short.  They stay well behind the line of decency while still being super sexy.

I’m wearing the Shiloh (Honey) skin again, but this time in one of the new options for the Oceania range: Gone Wild.  I love, love the eye makeup on this; the shading is fantastic, and it’s a very summery look.

This super adorable hair is one of the many new releases from Magika, and it’s called Bean.  While I do feel a tad bit like Princess Leia (and for someone who does not like Star Wars, that’s not really a good thing), it was too cute not to own, and it was perfect for lounging in the sun.

I also put on the new Tivona set from Earthstones in Lapis/Blue Calcite.  These anklets and footlets are super cute and sexy all at the same time.  And besides, even while lounging on the beach, a girl has to have her gems.

Some bangles and earrings from ::Exodi:: and a sweet necklace from Violet Voltaire rounded out the look.
If you haven’t done so already, do go check out the sale at ::Exodi:: and donate some lindens to a worthy cause.  You’ll get some high quality, fabulous summer fun for your wardrobe in the process.
