As we near the end of this lingerie countdown, it’s gets harder and harder to make decisions. There were so many great releases in lingerie this year, and I probably have them all. It gets especially hard when you love more than one set from a particular designer. In the end, though, there is always that one set that stands out above the rest. #2 on our countdown is Lianna by Reasonable Desires.
While I spend most of my time on the darker side of fashion, there is a girly, princess side to my personality that will not be ignored. Never is this more obvious than when I see pretty lingerie with ribbons and bows. Number 3 on our countdown of Arcadia’s Top Five Lingerie Sets of 2009 is Jolene by Blowpop.
Whether you’re walking the red carpet or attending a grand ball, wearing the most fabulous dress is a necessity. And for this month’s MDR Anniversary Party, we’re rolling out the red carpet with the help of one of my favorite dress designers: Sascha Frangilli of Sascha’s Designs.
I’ve blogged about Sascha’s wonderful designs before (here and here, to be exact) and I’m thrilled that she agreed to be our Affiliate of the Month for Novemeber. Sascha has graciously provided us with one of her fabulous designs to give away to all of our guests for FREE. I thought I’d show you that lovely dress, and two more of my favorites by this very talented and versatile dress designer. First up is my newest purchase, Trouble.
For my second post about the ::Emjay:: Sash Tops, I wanted to do some fall inspired looks. The top comes in both beige and brown, and I thought it could be fun to celebrate the transitioning seasons by pairing this lovely top with some more traditional autumn items. For the beige top, I knew immediately what I wanted to do.
MDR Photo Studio is hosting a lingerie party this Saturday, July 18th, at 6 p.m. SLT–Liberate Your Lingerie. It’s time to bring your lingerie out from behind those locked doors and wear it proudly! DJ Ashleigh Dickins will be spinning a sexy mix of music for all of the lingerie-clad lovelies in attendance.
This month’s Affiliate is Reasonable Desires which specilaizes in gorgeous lingerie and sexy costumes. Martini Joliat, the designer behind Reasonable Desires, will be hanging out with us to party and answer any questions you may have. We’re hoping her partner, Austie Pegler, will be able to stop by as well. So come and say hi to them and to us!
