If you missed the Avenue For The Love of McQueen event last month, have no fear. Another fantastic designer has put her contribution up for sale in store. If you’re a fan of Alexander McQueen or Goth Couture, tp over to House of RFyre and pick up Raven Pennyfeather’s contribution to the event: For The Love of McQueen.
Agnes Finney created a gorgeous dress called Mayur for the charity event “For The Love of McQueen” that ran all through March. If you didn’t get a chance to see that or pick it up, you can still grab it in her store, My Precious by Agnes Finney. Now that the event is over, however, Agnes has created another version of the Mayur dress: Queen Mayur Grandeur.

Steeling my nerves, I opened the door of the A-1 Detective Agency and stepped across the threshold, eyes zeroing in on the man I was here to see. He was sitting behind a desk, shirt only half buttoned but his hat still firmly in place. I blinked once, twice and then shut the door firmly, striding over to stand in front of the desk. He didn’t even look up from the stack of papers he was signing. I gripped the belt ties of my trench coat and waited for him to acknowledge my presence in the room. And he would acknowledge me. I was, after all, standing in front of his desk. Besides, if all else failed, what I was wearing underneath this coat was sure to get his attention.
My hands tightened on the ties as he finally looked up with a raised eyebrow.
“You lost, doll?” His tone was far less helpful than his words.
I shook my head, trying to remain calm and collected, but truth was he made me a little nervous. Okay, a lot nervous. He was so much more…male than I expected him to be. Tall, dark, and handsome was the cliché that came to mind, but with a healthy does of mysterious and sexy to round out the equation. Why, oh why did I have to be attracted to him? This would make what I had to do that much harder in the long run. “I need your help.”
While going through my inventory last night, I realized that I’d meant to blog the Waterfall gown from Sascha’s Designs last week. Alas, my rl work schedule got in the way. But I decided to go ahead and blog it now because better late than never, right? That should so be the tagline for this blog.
Speaking of SL weddings…
While I don’t ever plan on having my own SL wedding, being a photographer does afford me the opportunity to attend a lot of them. I’m always looking for something fantastic to wear to a wedding that won’t be too much, you know? Not too primmy, not too scripty, etc. The wedding guests create enough lag without me adding to it and making my job that much more difficult. For this most recent wedding, I found the perfect gown – Guinevere from Blacklace.
